This experience was a huge swing and miss for your dealership. I scheduled an oil change appt for 10:30AM and arrived at 10:20. I was told it would take 60 to 90 minutes. I ran errands and returned 75 minutes later and was told the car was not ready. After another 30 minutes (now about 12:30PM), I asked for an update. The woman at the counter said she would get an update and come to the waiting room to let me know. After another 15 minutes with no update, I again returned to the counter. The same woman said she forgot to give me the update and the car would be another 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, I asked for another update and was told the oil change was done and the car was waiting to be cleaned. At that point, my oil change (for which I had an appointment) was now 3 hours and counting. I refused the cleaning due to lack of confidence in receiving accurate information, paid the bill, and left the premises. I don���t understand the point of booking an appointment if the work does not start for two hours after the appointment time. Nor can I comprehend how a the time estimate for a simple appointment can be off by so much. Had I known oil change would take 3+ hours, I would have made other plans for my time besides sitting in a waiting room���.or taken the car somewhere else.
